Eve Sanoussi, MS
Eve Sanoussi is a Primary Therapist at Center for Healthy Sex. Her work with individuals and couples is guided by the question: “What is this symptom—or block, compulsion, or fantasy—trying to say?” In answering, she strives to meet clients with depth and care, whether they are navigating shame, desire changes, self-discovery, or family enmeshment.
Before becoming a therapist, she spent a decade in book publishing. This sharpened her instinct for what can be communicated through words and images—a dream, a slip of the tongue, erotic media.
Eve completed her clinical training at Airport Marina Counseling Service. Her work is informed by psychoanalysis, depth psychology, and emotionally-focused therapy, and she is kink-, poly-, and sex worker-friendly. Eve has a Master of Science degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English from Drew University. She holds a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
