Diego Share-Vargas, MA

Diego Share-Vargas, is a primary therapist at Center for Healthy Sex. Diego is passionate about supporting individuals and couples, in navigating transitions, deepening connection, and exploring identity through a sex-positive and LGBTQ+ affirming lens. They focus on relational dynamics, intergenerational healing, and meaning-making across the lifespan.

They have a background as a first responder, and a foundation in sexual health education, community health, and grassroots organizing. Their therapeutic orientation is rooted in narrative and structural frameworks, with a focus on intersectionality, collective care, and liberation-based approaches. They are trained in EMDR and offer bilingual therapy in English and Spanish.
 
Diego studied for their master’s at Antioch University Los Angeles, specializing in LGBTQ+ affirmative care. They are committed to healing that centers justice, embodiment, and radical acceptance. AMFT #155153 supervised by Robert Mendelsohn, MFT #39142.
 
All of our clinicians specialize in sex, love and porn addiction treatment, betrayal trauma and sex therapy. Primary therapists at CHS facilitate our intensives, workshops and coaching programs as well as our recovery support groups and are all trained in the Katehakis Integrative Sex Therapy Model (KIST).
